Recording with Giving Hands Music

Ready to Record?

Giving Hands Music are a Belfast-based recording and mixing team dedicated to helping bands capture their sound with energy, clarity, and authenticity.

Our mission is simple: to take the raw energy of your music and capture a recording that feels alive and true to who you are.

Recording at AMPS Studio, we understand the dynamics of working with bands—whether you’re a four-piece indie outfit, a metal band with huge guitars, or an acoustic-driven group looking for warmth and depth. Every project starts with listening: to your influences, your goals, and the unique chemistry that makes your band unique. From there, we work through the 4 step process:

  1. Pre-production ( the creative process: song development, capturing inspirations, building a sound palette, discovering artist identity, finding songs voice, rehearsal, demo capture)

  2. Production (capturing performances and creating arrangement ideas, overdubbing, additional production and supporting instrumentation.)

  3. Post production Premix editing and complaining, Mixing and automations.

  4. Mastering (for the final cohesive glue, tonal balancing and Quality assurance before distribution)

Our approach balances technical experience with creativity. We know how to make drums hit hard, guitars cut through, and vocals carry emotion. At the same time, we create a relaxed environment where your best performances come naturally.

Based in Belfast, we’re proud to work with the city’s growing music community while also collaborating with artists across the UK and Ireland. Whether you’re preparing to release your debut single or putting the finishing touches on an album project, we provide the skills and support to help you bring your vision to life.
